Polluting Firms Move out of Beijing
Adjust font size:
Beijing will have 20 polluting firms moved out of the city this year in its effort to make a better environment for the 2008 Olympics.

CEN learned this from the city's economic working conference.

The city has made an overall plan for the movement and built ten industrial parks to accommodate them. To this end, it tries to raise funds in a variety of ways, instead of exclusive government investment, such as bank loans, borrowing from the money market and private investment.

It also pays great attention to building a better environment for human habitat while developing industrial parks. Better government services, infrastructure and environment will be provided to attract firms to move into such industrial parks that are generally in the city's outlying areas.
