From March 22 to May 3, people who want to go for an outing in the countryside can take the opportunity to plant some life-giving trees in the vast surrounding rural areas.

As part of the activity of "Youth Green," an initiative of the Beijing Communist Youth League Committee, the "Tour of Tree Planting" is aimed at protecting and improving the ecological environment around Beijing.

On weekends during the period, young people and their families can visit the suburbs, planting trees and taking in some fresh spring air while learning more about how to protect the ecological environment.
