Dozens of masterpieces from 16 artists who are Tibetan or who have resided in Tibet for a long time will be on display.

"As one important component of the Chinese multi-ethnic cultures, these Tibetan artworks will show how contemporary artists inherit the essence of traditional Tibetan paintings and combine their works with modern arts outside Tibet," said Li Xiaoke, an artist and organizer of the exhibition.

The exhibition is organized by the China Artists Association, Tibet Artists Association and Li Keran Art Foundation.

The exhibition will run until Aug. 9.
