Gan Lulu's claim to fame

A little over a year ago no one knew who she was; nowadays, however, Gan Lulu has become one of the most googled women in China. Gan, born in 1985 in Henan, was majoring in Chinese folk dance when attending the attached middle school of Beijing Dance Academy. In early 2011, Gan became an overnight sensation after her mother uploaded a video of her naked in the shower in the hopes of finding her a boyfriend. Since then, she began making frequent appearances in various car shows, fashion shows, TV programs and movies. During the 2012 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, Gan continued to show off her hot figure wearing a cleavage-baring dress.

In late November, Gan said a certain four-letter word on a TV show. The Jiangsu Education Channel has been suspended from broadcasting by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television since November 30, for reasons of condoning (and almost encouraging) a raucous shouting match about nudity between audience members and Gan.
