A Chinese composer teaches guests how to produce musical tracks by new technology. On September 19, the Bangor Confucius Institute hosted a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration; also known as the Mooncake Festival. Guests from several academic Bangor schools such as the environmental sciences and music schools attended the celebration, along with the Confucius family. In China, the festival is similar to a bank holiday, the people may have three days off work to relax and spend time with their families, enjoy a meal and eat deliciously sweet mooncakes while in the presence of a beautiful full-moon, to appreciate the value of family.
