Horse theme a hit with artists

A folk artist in Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, creates a paper-cutting work titled "Getting a House Immediately". The pronunciation of "on the horse" in Chinese has the meaning of "immediately". In the paper-cutting work, there is a house on the horse, so it means "getting a house immediately". According to the Chinese zodiac, the Lunar New Year that is fast approaching is the Year of Horse. To mark the event, folk artists around the country have created horse-themed works to welcome the coming year.[Photo/Xinhua]
