Behind the Chinese language craze

Against the background of a social context, adding Chinese elements to TV series is a start that local American people became interested in the country across the Pacific. What's more, domestic public opinion in China is playing a key role in promoting American series' popularity in China. The China market is a new challenge for the scriptwriters and directors of the American TV series.

Guo Zhien from Beijing Language and Culture University believed that the Chinese elements in the American TV series are a kind of alien culture which could meet the demand of freshness.
