Created in the Kangxi period, Enamel porcelains were also extremely valuable during the Yongzheng and Qianglong periods. Since the manufacturing process and materials of enamel porcelain were incomparable, the Qing government had a monopoly on this kind of porcelain. The enamel bowl above, characterized by an excessively thin body under the glaze, sold for 4,370,000 RMB at the China Guardian 2011 Autumn Auctions.
