The Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival is just around the corner. As the tradition goes, the preparations for the Chinese New Year start on 23rd day of the twelfth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, which falls on Feb. 11 this year, when people make candy. Then, Day 24 is for cleaning the house, Day 25 is for making bean curd, Day 26 for buying meat products, Day 27 for slaughtering chicken, Day 28 for making yeast dough and Day 29 for making steamed buns…
