A group of music artists from northwest China's Shaanxi Province have made their first stop in the city of Xi'an to perform Shaanxi folk music and its modern adaptation.

Singers performed "Huayin Lao Qiang", or the "Old Tunes", a Chinese intangible cultural heritage which has been passed down for centuries.
They will make their next shows in northwest China's cities, including Lanzhou and Yinchuan, where they will be set for Kazakhstan in Central Asia along the ancient Silk Road.
Their music tour is expected to be carried on until the end of this year.
