SEPHORA, the world's largest cosmetics retailer, ropes in Z.TAO, a famous Chinese singer and actor, as its brand ambassador Friday in Shanghai.
SEPHORA also announced its new concept "My Beauty Power Turn It On" during a press conference at the Shanghai Film Plaza on Friday, calling every consumer to search deep and discover the power of their individual and unique beauty.
Meanwhile, the SEPHORA Mini Program on WeChat, China's popular social platform, was also launched.
"The mini program is an attempt by SEPHORA to embrace the social culture of China and makes us the first beauty retailer to offer such a comprehensive access to new beauty trends," said Benjamin Vuchot, SEPHORA President Asia, during the press conference.
"Through SEPHORA's mini program, Chinese consumers can now conveniently discover the latest beauty trends recommended by SEPHORA. They can also quickly find the nearest stores and also book professional beauty services in their favorite ones,” Vuchot added.
In addition to having 228 physical stores covering 74 cities in China, SEPHORA also announced its first new concept store in Asia, which will be unveiled in Shanghai in September.
