400,000 books to be shown at Beijing Book Fair

Nearly 400,000 new and best-selling books will be put on display at the 2019 Beijing Book Fair, scheduled for Jan. 10 to Jan. 12.

The fair, a key event in China's publishing sector, is organized by the Publishers Association of China and The Books and Periodicals Distribution Association of China.

A total of 718 publishers have reserved 2,527 stands at the fair, according to a press conference held by the organizers in Beijing on Friday.

More than 210 activities such as forums, talk shows, and report launches are expected to be held on the sidelines.
