Editor's note: Concerts by China's top symphony orchestras, "Einstein's Dreams" directed by leading theater director Meng Jinghui and a documentary spotlights Chinese survivors of the Titanic. Here are three events you won't want to miss this week.

1, Concerts: 7th China Orchestra Festival

The 7th China Orchestra Festival is being held from April 8-May 7, featuring 21 spectacular concerts. With a total of 22 famous Chinese symphony orchestras, 17 renowned Chinese conductors and over 30 well-known musicians and performers taking part, the festival presents a range of Chinese symphonic works composed to eulogize the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the people. 

The works unveil the burgeoning development of contemporary Chinese symphonies, as well as the brilliant achievements by Chinese orchestras over the past 100 years under the leadership of the CPC.

2, Drama: "Einstein's Dreams"

Leading theater director Meng Jinghui's stage production of "Einstein's Dreams" explores the connections between science and art, the process of creativity, and ultimately the fragility of human existence. As the defiant but sensitive young genius is creating his theory of relativity, he imagines many possible worlds.

Now translated into 30 different languages, "Einstein's Dreams" has inspired playwrights, dancers, musicians and painters all over the world.

Date: April 15-18

Venue: Beijing Poly Theatre

3, Movie: "The Six: The Untold Story of RMS Titanic's Chinese Passengers"

A new documentary by British filmmaker Arthur Jones reveals the little-known story of six Chinese survivors on the doomed Titanic passenger liner, which sank more than a hundred years ago.

"The Six: The Untold Story of RMS Titanic's Chinese Passengers" takes audiences on a journey to discover how six passengers from China survived the huge ship's sinking. Returning to a subject that he helped popularize among a new generation in 1997's blockbuster "Titanic," director James Cameron also joined the project as executive producer.

Release Date: April 16

Venue: Movie theaters nationwide
