With a reported 120-million-dollar budget, the film follows street-smart Nathan Drake, who is recruited by a seasoned treasure hunter to solve one of the world's oldest mysteries and recover a great fortune lost 500 years ago.

United Artists Releasing's buddy comedy film "Dog," co-directed by and starring Channing Tatum, held the second place with 10.12 million dollars on its second weekend for a North American cume of 30.89 million dollars.

Rounding out the top 3, Sony's presentation of Columbia Pictures' superhero film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" brought in 5.75 million dollars on its eleventh weekend, pushing its North American total to 779.88 million dollars.
