6. Planting trees

Before and after Qingming Festival, the sun shines brightly and the rain falls gently. This is a good season for spring farming and plowing. The survival rate of the newly-planted seedlings is high, and the young trees grow quickly. Therefore, there has been a custom of planting trees during Qingming Festival in China since ancient times, which has been passed down to this day.
