To celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Israel, a photo exhibition titled The First Twin Cities Story Cultural Exchange Photography Exhibition kicked off at Tianjin Art Museum on Aug 23 and will last until Sept 12. A total of 120 works are on display, including 50 works from Israel, 50 from Tianjin and 20 provided by the China Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.

The exhibition is hosted by Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the China Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, and jointly organized by Tianjin Culture and Tourism Photography Association and Tianjin Art Museum.

Taking images as a powerful form of art communication, Chinese and Israeli photographers capture the cultures in two countries and present them in a comprehensive and diversiform manner. Photos on display reveal people's lives, natural landscapes and the city charms of China's Tianjin and Israel's Rishon Le-Zion.

The exhibited photos also reflect the development and cooperation achievements of economy and society between the two cities, which deepens cultural integration between China and Israel.

This year marks the year of cultural exchanges between Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the China Cultural Center in Tel Aviv, with many cultural communication events planned on the schedule, according to the hosts.

In the future, as an international-brand event, The First Twin Cities Story Cultural Exchange Photography Exhibition will continue to develop, giving more Israeli people the chance to experience the charm of Tianjin, and feel the profound traditional Chinese culture it has to offer.
