The Poznań Boys' Choir was established on 1 September 2003,on the initiative of the President of the City of Poznan in order to preserve the continuity of the ensemble's tradition, the origins of which date back to 1945.
The choir was formerly founded in 1957 by Jerzy Kurczewski (1924 - 1995).
Poznań Boys' Choir gave concerts over 2200 times in many countries on 4 continents. It has taken part in numerous prestigious music festivals. The ensemble has recorded a number of albums and has given world premieres of significant works by contemporary composers.
