Venezuelan student Lolu Wanying produced an animated short film to tell the story of The Mijares, descendants of the Dancing Devils of Chuao. Even in the face of poverty and homelessness during tumultuous times, they kept the tradition of dancing in honor of Corpus Christi alive each year. With the fading of music and dance, and the decline of the family, the last remaining inheritors abandoned their homes and danced into the forest. Here, they encountered the spirits of their ancestors and were taken back to the summer night when they first prayed to the gods. Professor Wang Zhigang supervised this animation.
