Zhu Yitong: 'That Way' (Department of Textile and Fashion Design)

The guiding hands in Zhu Yitong's worksymbolizea multitude of assessments, view points and opinions. Some hands take the lead, while others simply follow. Occasionally, they agree to disagree and vice versa. Through continuous modifications, they may even merge into one another. However, the hands lack genuine individuality; they are nothing more than manipulated dolls. "At times, we unintentionally become deeply immersed in these hands without even realizing it. Nevertheless, we must not let ourselves become disoriented by the opinions expressed by outsiders," she remarked. Professor Zhang Baohua supervised this artwork.
