In "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem," Chan voices Splinter, an iconic mutant rat who serves as the teacher, martial arts instructor, and adoptive father of the Ninja Turtles. "I think this film is different from some other older 'Ninja Turtles' movies," Chan explained. "It is especially for the family. Everybody can watch."
The film follows the Turtle brothers' quest to win over New York City while battling an army of mutants. Sheltered for years, they strive to be accepted as normal teenagers and are aided by their friend April O'Neil in confronting a mysterious crime syndicate. However, they face a daunting challenge when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
"You can watch the Ninja Turtles grow from young to old. The film has a lot of comedy and action; it's actually an action-comedy. It revolves around family, unity, father-and-son relationships, and harmony. Just like my Jackie Chan action movies, there's a lot of action, non-violence, and comedy that the whole family can enjoy. It combines adventure with my special character. I like my character, and I also like the four small Ninja Turtles. Each of them has their own unique personality," Chan said.

Directed by Jeff Rowe, the film's voice cast includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, Ayo Edebiri, Jackie Chan, and Seth Rogen, who is also a producer and writer of the film. This coming-of-age superhero comedy action film, based on the Mirage Studios characters of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, serves as the seventh movie installment and is essentially a reboot. Notably, the film has received high approval ratings, currently at 96% based on 178 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" was released in China on Aug. 11. Paramount Pictures hosted a premiere in Beijing on Tuesday, where the theater was adorned with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" elements.
