Shanghai Disney Resort unveiled its latest live show on Monday, "The Adventure of Rhythm," which is set to debut next week at the Storyhouse Stage in Adventure Isle at Shanghai Disneyland.

The show revolves around a team of music-focused archeologists who share stories and rhythms from their global expeditions with the audience in Adventure Isle. As the team embarks on a quest to find the "Rhythm of Adventure," accompanied by original musical numbers performed by a troupe of dancers and live drummers, guests will be transported on a melodic journey to various classic and new Disney stories set in different parts of the world.

The highlight of "The Adventure of Rhythm" is a series of musical productions reflecting five music genres: regional, big band, hip hop, Latin jazz, and pop music. The show features memorable tunes from beloved Disney films such as "Mulan," "The Lion King," and "Aladdin," as well as Pixar Animation Studios' "Turning Red," promising to captivate parkgoers with compelling lyrics and catchy melodies.

Each music genre features two different songs and adventure stories interpreted by various Disney characters. The show's innovative format ensures that guests will be treated to fresh surprises with each viewing, as the combinations of music, stories, and characters will change with each performance.

Depending on the path the adventure takes, guests can enjoy moments with beloved characters such as Marie from "The Aristocats," Genie from "Aladdin," and Aladdin himself.

"The Adventure of Rhythm" will run from June 3 to Oct. 7, 2024, and is included with park admission. The show aims to deliver a message of optimism, emphasizing that music is within all of us.
