Beijing residents spent a delightful evening at a park in Haidian district, blending high-end scientific technology, art, and music into a perfect weekend getaway.

This event was part of the 16th China International Youth Arts Festival and the 13th Zhongguancun International Youth Art Festival, co-hosted by China Arts and Entertainment Group and the Beijing Haidian District Cultural and Tourism Bureau.

Dubbed the "Tech Bazaar," the event featured cutting-edge technological achievements from various universities and institutions in Haidian district, interactive workshops, and live music performances.

At the venue, renowned institutions like Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, and Beijing Institute of Technology, along with research institutions like the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Physics and Institute of Chemistry, showcased a variety of innovative technological products in aerospace, intelligent equipment, AI, and agricultural technology.

Visitors were treated to demonstrations of air traffic control systems, 3D real-time rendering, handheld underwater flying devices, and many other frontier innovations by these academic and research entities.

Interactive tech experiences such as flight simulations and AI chess games also drew the enthusiastic participation of numerous young visitors and families.

"I felt it was so real when I tried the VR flight game, which is amazing," said Chu Han, a primary school student who attended the event with her grandmother. "I have tried similar VR technology at my school, but it was my first time to try the flight simulation, which attracted me so much."

Another young attendee said, "This event not only showcases the high-tech industrial characteristics of our Haidian district but also carries a strong cultural vibe, making me feel proud and happy!"
