Let's take a look at some submissions to the 5th China Xizang Internet Photography & Video Festival.

Tsongba Yontso

In the Tsongba Yontso scenic area, white clouds float above snow-capped mountains, creating a fairytale scenery. At the foot of the mountains, a vast expanse of lush grass stretches to the horizon, connecting to the azure lake. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected on the mirror-like surface of the lake, which looks like a huge of emerald on the plateau.

Bloodstones in Tsongba Yontso

Two bloodstones lie quietly on the shore of the lake in the Tsongba Yontso scenic area, and they appear like gems from heaven setting off the crystal-clear lake. In the distance, magnificent snow-crowned mountains and lush grasslands compose a beautiful painting. The white clouds floating in the sky add a sense of warmth to the stunning scenery.

Passing by the Home of Mr. Rat

With a heavy bag on the back, a hiker strikes towards the depth of mountains with firm steps. Along the journey, he encounters many rat holes scattered around, which add a sense of vitality to this tranquil grassland.

The Tree of the Land

The "Tree of the Land" is wonder along a national highway in Xizang. It isn't a real tree, but the trace left by Mother Nature on the land after millions of years of weathering. It resembles a huge tree taking roots in the ground, with "branches" spreading around. It is a witness to both natural and human history.

The Wings of Light

The lush grassland in the foreground and the lake in the mid-ground are dyed into golden by the sun. The magnificent snow-capped mountains in the distance look mysterious, with their tops hidden in the clouds. The sunlight penetrates through the clouds, creating an impressive vista of golden wings on both sides of the mountains. This phenomenon is known as the Tyndall effect.

Snow View at an Altitude of 6,000 Meters

Shrouded by dark clouds, the plateau with an altitude of 6,000 meters boasts a picturesque snow view. In the foreground, yellow and purple flowers bloom tenaciously amidst crushed rocks; In the distance, rolling mountains are covered by snow and mist, creating a mysterious and magnificent vista.

Prayer Flags

Dark clouds are gathering in the sky, and prayer flags dance in the howling wind. In the distance, lightning pierced the sky, illuminating the gloomy vault.

Yak and the Land

On the shore of a tranquil lake, the carcass of a yak lies quietly, facing the vast lake and the majestic mountains in the distance.

Burning Clouds over the No Man's Zone

The clouds over the no man's zone appear like roaring flames. The red glows of the setting sun set off the rolling hills in the distance. The scenery looks like an impressive painting drawn by Mother Nature on this vast land.

Starry Sky of the No Man's Zone

Shimmering stars appear like shining diamonds inlaid on the night sky of the no man's zone. A hiker holds a glistening flashlight in the hand, and marches towards the grassland in the distance. The faint light in his hand looks particularly weak but tenacious, lighting up the path toward an unknown realm for the brave explorer.
