A photography exhibition opened on Dec 7 in Harbin, showcasing the winter landscape of Fenglin county, Yichun, Heilongjiang province.

With more than 120 photos, the exhibition aims to boost the region's reputation as a winter tourism destination, attracting photographers and tourists to explore its snowy landscapes and rime-ice-covered forests.

The county is known for being the home of Korean pines and hooded cranes, and has been awarded national-level titles as a destination for tourism and ecological preservation.

From mid-December to February, the exhibition is due to travel to Beijing, Dalian in Liaoning province, Maoming in Guangdong province, Kunming in Yunnan province, and Xi'an in Shaanxi province.

In addition, Yichun will host a series of snow sports competitions, including snowfield soccer, cross-country skiing and orienteering, inviting visitors to participate in the games and explore the region's winter landscape.
