Shijiaying Mine area in Beijing's Fangshan District, closed in 2010 due to the needs for improvement in the city's environment and a boost in regional industrial transformation, will be transformed into a national mine park covering 58.5 square kilometers -- about 50 percent of the total land area of Shijiaying Township where the mine is located. The project, worth a total investment of 326 million yuan, will be completed in two years. [File Photo]
