Star Film and Television Park, located in Daxing District, is China's largest TV production base. It has produced more than 9000 shows, including the popular Road to Stardom. "The transformation from a leasing space to a national film and television base, the development of the park shows that non-government capital is inspiring the innovative vitality of cultural industry," a responsible person of the park said.

Covering an area of 220 mu (15 hectares), it is taken up by more than 20 provincial level TV stations and many TV production companies. "The popular Jiangsu TV Spring Festival Gala was produced in here," the responsible person of the park said.

"Established in 2005, it was built for leasing space to production companies and TV stations," the responsible person said, "Non-government capital and government support stimulates the innovation ability of the park. In recent years, it has transformed from a leasing space into a comprehensive industrial chain, providing professional services to film and television production companies."

Based on professional studios and other technical centers, it provides lighting and stage design, digital recording and satellite transmission to TV stations and other media companies.

The city has strengthened its support to private enterprises, making it a very important force in the capital's cultural industry development. Stronger private media companies such as Enlight Media and Crystal CG have had a positive influence on enhancing the vitality of the overall cultural creative industry.
