Shuangxingtang (Nanyuan Public Bath House), located in Nanyuan, Fengtai District of Beijing, the capital of China, is said to be the last public bath house in the city. "Showring," a comedy directed by Chinese director Zhang Yang, was shot at this public bath house, which was originally built in 1916. It only charges clients eight yuan (US$1.3), rather affordable compared with the booming spa centers which may cost citizens more than 100 yuan (US$15.9). Bathers can immerse themselves in the pool to their heart's content, take a shower, chat, play Chinese chess, drink tea, get a back rub, and so on.
