Graffiti makes garden expo more beautiful

Graffiti artists from across China are busy preparing to tag concrete bridge piers supporting two rail lines that cross Garden Park at the Ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo.

The invited artists include Wang Yue, an art student from Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, who is well-known online for her tree hollow paintings, as well as some professional teams from across the country.

Graffiti artists are invited to paint 18 grey concrete bridge piers in the garden park for the Ninth China (Beijing) International Garden Expo. [File photo] 

The best of these 18 designs will be selected to represent the garden expo's theme of "life in scenery."

The two railways-Beijing-Yuanping Railway and Xichang Rail Link, which connects Beijing West Railway Station and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway - run throughout the garden park.
