Students attend a calligraphy class at Beijing No. 94 Middle School Airport Campus in Beijing, capital of China, April 18, 2013. The Chinese Ministry of Education has published a guideline on calligraphy education for the country's primary and middle schools in February, setting specific calligraphy course requirements for each period of study and calls for including the courses in evaluations of the schools' performance. In China, calligraphy has been revered as an art form since it was first used in the fifth century BC.
