The Second China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), themed "Trade in Services: The New Engine for Value Enhancement", was attended by traders from 117 countries and regions. More than 130 activities in six sections, including the opening ceremony and summit forum, high-level forums, and business talks, were held during this year's fair. The fair is the world's only comprehensive trading platform which covers the 12 fields of trade in services as defined by the World Trade Organization: business services, communication services, construction and related engineering services, distribution services, educational services, environmental services, financial services, health and social services, tourism and travel-related services, recreational, cultural and sports services, transportation services and others.
