Tourists buy red apricot fruits, in Beijing's Pinggu District, during the Pinggu (Beizhai) Red Apricot Cultural Festival. The festival, which kicked off in Beizhai Village, on June 20, will run for 26 days. A series of cultural and sports activities, including picking, trekking, handicraft exhibitions and paid visits to cultural heritage relics, will be held during the festival.
