An installation named "66m Under" was displayed in 751D•PARK during Beijing Design Week on Sept. 26.

Designed by Tushan and IYNED, "66m Under" has a motile surface designed to imitate the rise and fall of sea levels and is meant to represent the position and depth of the sea surrounding Beijing. Audiences can interact by downloading an app called "66m Under" to their smart phones, which allows them to play a game in which they pick up garbage in the ocean to control and influence the rise of sea levels.

This is the first installation to combine online and offline experiences, educating the public about the relationship between human activity and the ocean environment as well as about the severe impact sea level rise would have on human populations. IYNED wants to highlight the crisis and wants to provide solutions in the future.
