Zhan Yue, born in Beijing, is 1.99 meters tall. She graduated from Tsinghua High School and was admitted to the University of California, Berkeley on a full scholarship. She also became a member of the women’s basketball team at school. She celebrated her 18th birthday on May 15, along with her parents, who had professional basketball training. When she was in Tsinghua High School, she led the school team to win the 2014-2015 China High School Basketball League Match championship and was awarded MVP. In late June, she will be going to attend her new school and pursue her basketball dreams in the NCAA.
