JD CEO ties the knot with 'Milk Tea Baby'

Richard Liu, CEO and founder of China's e-commerce giant JD.com, has recently tied the knot with Zhang Zetian, who became an online celebrity in 2009. Zhang, then a high school student, was dubbed "Milk Tea Baby" for a picture in which she holds a cup of milk tea.

The two got their marriage certificates at the marriage registration office of Beijing's Chaoyang District.

Xu Lei, JD.com senior deputy executive, confirmed the news on his Sina Weibo account.

In April 2014, Liu sparked an online frenzy for dating Zhang, who is 19 years younger than him. Liu and Zhang was born in February 1974 and November 1993, respectively.

The two fell in love with each other when they were studying in the United States.
