My name is Li Zitong. I’m an ordinary middle school student, and I have a low-carbon dream.

I love animals very much and the increasingly smaller population of polar bears and other animals has greatly saddened me. Air pollution is to blame for destroying their homes, and a desire to protect the adorable animals and the beautiful earth has gradually grown in my heart. I have joined the ranks of environmental protectionists by first living a low-carbon life myself and then calling on others to get involved in environmental protection.

To better spread low-carbon knowledge, I invented a chess game. The game makes use of a board made from scrap plastic and sticker clippings from old books and hair accessories, and it integrates fun with low-carbon know-how. Players can easily realize the importance of low-carbon environmental protection through the game.

My low-carbon dream is woven by my own hands and by the hands of many others, for we have a common dream to make the sky bluer, the earth more beautiful and human beings healthier.
