Founded in 1999 by Jack Ma, Alibaba Group is China's largest e-commerce services provider. It started as an online listings service, and has grown into an internet conglomerate of e-commerce, cloud computing, mobile media and entertainment. Alibaba went public on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2014.
