Asia-Pacific Hotels Cooperation Forum held in Haikou

The 2017 Asia-Pacific Hotels Cooperation Forum opened in Haikou in August 17. The forum, lasting three days, aimed to build a multiple mutually-beneficial platform and promote the integration and development of real estate, tourism and hotel industries along the Belt and Road.

The grand meeting opened at the Hilton Haikou Meilan under the context of greater collaboration in the Asia Pacific region, with the theme of "Future, We come for you!" and the keywords of "foresight, practice, integration, creation and responsibility-undertaking."
The forum launched six sub-forums which focused on hotel renewal, investment financing, asset management, hotel design, marketing innovation and hotel catering services. It brought together executives and senior insiders covering hotels, catering, tourism, design and investment industries to discuss relevant hot topics and give an all-round analysis and advice on the development of the industries.
The sponsors and organizers of the forum held a series of meetings and fairs to provide all kinds of services for investors and managers, professionals and enterprises to explore product marketing channels and to promote multi-party negotiations, to realize cooperative intentions and agreement-signings.
At the same time, with great support from the Asia Pacific Hotel Association, the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC) and the Hotel Investors Association of CRECC, the China Hotel Investors Supply-side Industry Chain Alliance was formally established during the event. The alliance boasts a cross-regions and cross-industries industry chain which covers real estate, tourism, hotels and catering industries.
Zhong Bin, secretary-general of CRECC, Zhuang Qiming, president of R&F Hotel Management Company, and Li Ruizhong, general manager of Greenland International Hotels Group participated in the round-table conference where they discussed topics such as project planning, research, design, construction and operation.
Under the principle of democracy, fairness, openness and impartiality, the new leading group of CRECC was elected during the event.
During the event, participants visited some scenic spots in Haikou, including the Movie Town of film director Feng Xiaogang, which is located at Mission Hills.
The forum was co-organized by the Hainan branch of the Asia Pacific Hotel Association, the Hainan Hotel and Catering Association, the Real Estate Industry Association of Hainan Province, the Haikou Chamber of Commerce under the Chamber of International Commerce, and the Haikou branch of the China Travel Service.
More than 50 news outlets from home and abroad had full coverage of the grand event. They include China.org.cn, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, China News Service, People.cn. Sina.com, Sohu.com, Haikou TV, and the Hainan Daily. Many internet users watched the live broadcast of the event through a global WeChat live video broadcast.
