Various Chinese companies have been included in Forbes' first-ever list of the world's Top Regarded Companies.

The list includes companies from 58 countries that together account for $35.3 trillion in revenues.

Taiwan-based Asustek Computers has come in 26th on the list, followed next by Lenovo at 27th, while Chinese mainland-based COSCO Shipping came in 104th on the list.

These are among 17 Chinese companies which have made the Forbes list of Top Regarded Companies.

The list itself has been compiled from the opinions of 15,000 interviewees from 60 countries. All the selected companies were evaluated based on the criteria of trustworthiness, social conduct, the company's reputation as an employer and the performance of the company's products or services.

German conglomerate Siemens tops the list.

Corporations from the United States and Japan dominate the list, with 61 U.S. companies and 42 Japanese companies selected.

Eight U.S. companies are in the top 20, including Alphabet, Walt Disney, Apple, Hilton, Marriott International, Netflix, Microsoft and IBM.

Gaming giant Nintendo tops all Japanese companies, ranking fourth.

Vehicle manufacturers also hold predominant positions on Forbes' Top Regarded Companies list.
