EY launched its China "wavespace" flagship center in Beijing on April 21, to help local startups and enterprises embrace digital transformation and seek new business growth point by integrating forefront technologies.
The Beijing center, EY's 47th wavespace center in the world, focuses on the industrial trend and business applications of 5G technology. It aims to serve as a bridge between technologists, business strategists and designers, said Hoffman Cheong, EY China North Managing Partner.
EY, a global leading organization of assurance, consulting, law, strategy, tax and transactions, intends to leverage its global knowledge to decrease costs for enterprises by using external resources while improving efficiency.
Cheong said Beijing, a hub of national technology and innovation resources, hosts technology and research institutions, top-notch universities and innovation enterprises. The establishment of the center is to echo the market demand and the nation's call to build China into an innovation-oriented country.
Wavespace is EY's digital factory and features an interconnected innovation network that covers more than 40 most dynamic and innovative urban areas around the world. It has three flagship centers in China, which are in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
