Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Sichuan province early this year, some enterprises in Dazhou city had temporary business difficulties.

The city's water and natural gas suppliers took the initiative to help them reduce utility expenditure by optimizing their fee collection procedures, reducing charges, and undertaking the costs of the network construction cost outside the red line of the enterprises' properties.

They have canceled a total of charge 6 million yuan ($834,000) and reduced fees of 3.31 million yuan, which benefit 235 market entities and 9,119 households.

In the first quarter of this year, thanks to such efforts, the 433 industrial units above designated size in Dazhou realized an added value of 8.05 billion yuan, up by 23.4%.
