Liu Jian, director of the Customer Relationship Management Center of CAMY New Energy of Sichuan, recalled the fast development of the Jianzhou New Town since 2018, where the company set up its branch.

Liu said it was the large-scale infrastructure construction projects he saw along with some other entrepreneurs, who were invited to pay a fact-finding inspection to the place in 2018, that had provided him and others with a broad space for imagination on the prospects of the new town.

As the CENA focusing on promoting the development of auto, equipment manufacturing and electronic information, the Jianzhou New Town sets the target of forming a modern industrial system, and it defines green networked vehicles, intelligent industrial equipment and smart consumer terminals as three key manufacturing industries, and inspection and testing, advanced computing power as two key service industries.

It has attracted many leading enterprises in these industries in recent years, including SVOLT, CAS W-Power, Sichuan Shudao Equipment and Technology, 3Con, and Oupolang Precision Tool, laying a solid foundation for the formation of the industrial system.

The Jianzhou New Town is currently carrying out more than 20 projects in these industries, with a total contracted investment of 70 billion yuan ($10.13 billion).

At the same time, large areas of standard workshops are being built in Jianzhou, along with other necessary infrastructures, including schools, hospitals and shops that will be sufficient to support the lives of about 5,000 workers and their families.
