Beijing Daxing International Airport saw its daily passenger trips exceed 155,000 for the first time on Sunday.
Since the summer holiday, Daxing International Airport handles 880 flights and 127,000 passengers per day on average. From July 3 to 20, the daily passenger count of the airport exceeded 120,000 for 18 consecutive days.
Daxing International Airport has reopened or added more than 10 international and regional air routes since July. Flights are available to major destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast and Northeast Asia, including three flights to and from Seoul each day, two flights to and from London each day, and one flight to and from Singapore, Tokyo, and Doha each day.
Since the start of this year, Daxing International Airport has operated more than 160,000 flights and seen more than 22 million passengers.
