The Section of Financial Services, one of nine themed sections at the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), will run from Sept. 2 to 6 in Shougang Park, Beijing. The section expects participation from 219 global financial entities, including 68 from the Fortune Global 500 list.

Spanning 14,000 square meters, the section will consist of eight major exhibition areas, forming a “one-stop financial gathering.” Encompassing exhibitions and forums, among other activities, the section will showcase China's achievements in supporting the real economy with financial services and promoting cross-border trade.

Li Wenhong, head of the Beijing Bureau of Local Financial Regulation and Supervision, said that the Financial Services Section this year enjoys participation from over 20 countries and regions across the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This signifies a notable improvement in its global reach and international standing.

Major financial entities, including HSBC Bank and Standard Chartered Bank, will present their latest overseas financial products and technologies.

Additionally, the Section of Financial Services will host both the China International Finance Annual Forum 2023 and the Global PE Forum 2023. These forums aim to facilitate discussions on global financial market trends and uncover new collaboration avenues.

This year's edition of CIFTIS, one of the world's largest and most comprehensive fairs for trade in services, will be held in the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park, with an exhibition space totaling 155,000 square meters.
