China's retail sales of consumer goods up 3.7% in May

The retail sales of consumer goods in China expanded 3.7% year on year to over 3.92 trillion yuan (US$540 billion) in May, said Liu Aihua, spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics, at a press briefing Monday.
