In the first half of this year, Beijing unveiled nine commercial complexes, adding a total of 647,000 square meters of retail space, according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce. By the end of the year, the city's new commercial space is expected to reach 1.4 million square meters.

Among them is Beichenhui, the flagship commercial project of the National Convention Center Phase II, and the first to open in Beijing this year.

Spanning 55,000 square meters, Beichenhui offers a wide array of amenities, including an international supermarket, specialty restaurants, and a bookstore. It also boasts over a dozen flagship stores, offering visitors a fresh and unique shopping experience.

In the northern part of Zhongguancun Science City in Haidian district, Xibeiwang MixC is a new social hub for residents and professionals working in the surrounding tech parks.

Changping district has emerged as a vibrant hotspot for young people, featuring the first sports club in northern Beijing with a swimming pool, along with the city's deepest diving pool.

Fengtai district leads the city in new commercial developments, with three new malls opening in the first half of the year. Lize 16 stands out with its park-like commercial space, featuring a rainbow running track and an open-air art museum. Huaxiahui, located on the top floor, offers a variety of cultural activities, enriching the community's cultural life. Meanwhile, Jingsheng Times Shopping Center has been designed as a comprehensive family destination that combines shopping, leisure, and entertainment.
