Auto Shanghai 2025 to drive innovation and global cooperation

The 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, known as Auto Shanghai 2025, will be held from April 25 to May 2, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, according to a press conference on Tuesday.

The event aims to embrace globalization and promote high-quality development by leveraging technological advancements and new business models in the digital era. By focusing on science and technology innovation, the event seeks to enhance supply chain collaboration and mutual cooperation, driving a new era of development in the global automotive industry.

Organized by the Shanghai Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, with support from the Shanghai International Exhibition Group and Messe München GmbH, the exhibition is expected to cover a vast area of 360,000 square meters. The schedule includes press days on April 23 and 24, trade days on April 25 and 26, and public days from April 27 to May 2.

Kicking off with the 2025 Global Automotive Leaders Closed-door Summit on April 22, the event will spotlight China's automotive industry on the global stage, marking a significant milestone in its 40-year history.

The theme of Auto Shanghai 2025, "Embracing Innovation, Empowering the Future", underscores a commitment to innovation and collaboration. The summit on April 22 will gather government officials, industry experts, and global leaders to explore industry trends and insights, fostering high-level cooperation and mutual benefits in the automotive sector.

As Auto Shanghai embarks on this new journey, it remains dedicated to being a key player in automotive technological innovation, advocating for open cooperation and contributing to high-quality industry development, said the organizer.
