China's foreign trade in sports services surges 178% in 2023

China's sports industry has grown significantly over the years, with its added value registering an average annual growth of 15.4% from 2012 to 2022. The foreign trade of sports services reached 52.89 billion yuan (US$7.45 billion) in 2023, a surge of 178% year on year, said Zhou Jinqiang, vice minister of the General Administration of Sport of China, at a press conference Wednesday.
