From January to November, industrial enterprises above designated size in Beijing achieved a revenue of 2.64 trillion yuan ($370 billion), a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. The total profit of the enterprises reached 171.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year of 10%, according to data released by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics.

Industrial enterprises above designated size refer to legal entities in the industrial sector with annual operating revenues of 20 million yuan or more.

Domestic enterprises achieved a total profit of 89.71 billion yuan, up 8.1% year-on-year, while foreign-invested and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan-invested enterprises hit a total profit of 81.35 billion yuan, up 12.1% year-on-year.

Eighteen of the 37 major industrial categories saw growing revenues. Among them, the computer, communication, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry achieved a total profit of 32.19 billion yuan, showing exponential growth. The specialized equipment manufacturing industry realized a total profit of 11.71 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%.
