Yanqing district in Beijing aims to enhance and upgrade its low-altitude industry chain by signing cooperation agreements with 14 leading enterprises and research institutes at a recently held investment promotion event.

The event showcased the latest achievements of Yanqing district in technological innovation, low-altitude technology, and land resource management, attracting nearly 200 participants from government departments, universities, foundations, enterprises, and industry to explore cooperation opportunities.

Ye Dahua, head of the Yanqing district government, emphasized Yanqing's strengths and future development plans. He highlighted the district's advantages in the low-altitude sector, including dedicated airspace and a thriving drone enterprise cluster. With over a hundred low-altitude companies already based there, Yanqing aims to become Beijing's leading hub for low-altitude technology innovation and industrial development, according to Ye.

Since attracting its first drone company in 2018, Yanqing has leveraged its favorable airspace, ample space, and robust industrial support infrastructure to become home to 111 low-altitude technology companies. These include Aerospace Times Feihong, TUS UAV, and Tsingaero Armament.

To further support businesses and promote high-quality growth, Yanqing district has launched an online resource platform. This platform will provide businesses with convenient online services for resource matching and connection.
