The Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) is firmly establishing itself in the European market to become a key contributor and reliable partner in the region's transition toward low-carbon, intelligent, and sustainable construction solutions, said Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG.
He outlined XCMG's long-term vision for the European market as the company made its 12th consecutive appearance at the Bauma 2025, the 34th edition of the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery.
As one of China's leading construction machinery manufacturers, XCMG unveiled over 60 tailored products at the exhibition -- nearly half featuring electrified technologies -- under the theme, "Green Innovation Drives the Future."
"These are newly developed products tailored specifically for European market demands through collaborative R&D with our local clients," he said, singling out the European debut of the 60-ton hybrid all-terrain crane as a prime example.
We hope to leverage this platform to introduce XCMG's mature new energy electrification solutions, including technologies, products and operational experience gained in China, to the European market, added Yang.
Since its debut at Bauma in 1992, XCMG has transformed from a newcomer to a well-recognized brand in the construction machinery field of Europe.
In-depth understanding of the European market and precise product positioning serve as the prerequisites for succeeding in the local market, Yang emphasized, as he believes that Europe represents a strategic focal point in the company's global digital transformation strategy.
The company maintains tech-focused R&D centers, manufacturing facilities, localized supply chains, and financial services across Europe to ensure rapid response to customer needs, according to Yang.
"XCMG aims to establish itself as a key player in advancing Europe's green and intelligent transformation, particularly in pioneering the deep integration of artificial intelligence with construction machinery," he said.
